UNIPORT Pre-Degree Admission Form 2022/2023
Authorities of the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) invite applications from suitably qualified candidates, for admission into any of the following one-year Pre-degree Programme in the Faculties of Humanities and Education, for the 2022/2023 Session.ELIGIBILITY: The Programme is open to applicants with a minimum of five (5) Credits in not more than two sittings in English Language and other relevant subjects [in GCE, SSCE, NECO, NABTEB & TC II (TC II is applicable for applicants for Faculty of Education)].
COURSE DURATION: The Programme is for a period of one year (one academic session).
UNIPORT Pre-Degree Courses and Entry Requirements
Candidates should possess WASSC/SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB Ordinary Level with credit passes in 5 relevant subjects. See the list of subjects below for details.
O’ Level Subjects: English Language, Literature in English, CRK/IRK, Economics, Commence, Geography, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Agric. Science, Physics, A Nigerian Language (Igbo, Hausa and Yoruba), Fine Arts, History, Government, French, Further Mathematics, Music.

How to Apply for UNIPORT Pre-Degree Admission Form
Application is online. Logon to www.uniportsbs.org and follow the instructions; a fee of Twenty Thousand Naira (N20,000.00), excluding Bank charges, is required. Payment can be made at designated Banks nationwide. The names on candidates’ O’ Level Certificates must be the same as what is filled out online. Any false information given automatically disqualifies the applicant. All applicants must have personal and functional phone numbers and email addresses for further communication from the School and should visit the School’s website regularly.
CLOSING DATE: Ongoing.
REGISTRATION: Registration of successful candidates will be announced in due course.
NOTE:
To transit to the Degree Programme, in addition to the required 5 O’Level Credits, the candidate must
- PASS THE PRESCRIBED PRE-DEGREE EXAMINATIONS
- HAVE THE APPROPRIATE UNIFIED TERTIARY MATRICULATION EXAMINATION (UTME) SUBJECT COMBINATION AND
- HAVE THE NATIONAL MINIMUM SCORE IN THE 2023/2024 UTME AND MUST HAVE CHOSEN THE UNIVERSITY OF PORT HARCOURT
